Jamil Bouchareb

Founder and CEO of Restaurantware, a leading supplier of eco-friendly foodservice products, founded in 2010.

Jamil grew up in his parents' restaurant, where hospitality was less a business than a way of life. That early education — in service, quality, and the details guests never see — still shapes how he builds companies today.

After earning his B.B.A. from the University of Miami, Jamil founded Restaurantware in 2010 with a conviction that foodservice could be both beautiful and sustainable. He remains a hands-on leader across product development, sales, and marketing, involved in everything from material sourcing decisions to the look of a single serving piece.

He is also the force behind “Power Lunch for a Purpose,” an initiative that pairs business conversation with charitable giving.

Beyond the office

Outside of work, Jamil's interests run toward interior design, real estate, golf, and travel — pursuits that share a common thread of craft, place, and experience.
